LIGHT DESIGNER

Marine Le Vey met the performing arts during her studies at the School of Architecture in Nantes.

After graduating as a state architect in 2010, she trained in lighting between 2011 and 2013 at the CFPTS and the Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers.

Since 2012, she has been working as a lighting designer on various performances.

Theatre collaborations include Masculin/Féminin directed by Julie Duclos, Itinéraires by Yann Verburgh directed by Eugen Jebeleanu, and more recently L'Amour telle une cathédrale ensevelie by Guy Régis Junior.

In puppetry, she created the lighting for La dernière balade de Buster Keaton by the company Les Trois Clés. In circus, she worked on a vertical dance show Où dorment les mouettes ? by the company Erézance and in opera on Le Blues du Perroquet by Guillaume Paire and I was looking at the ceiling and then I saw the sky by John Adams directed by Eugen Jebeleanu and Yann Verburgh.

In 2019, she assists Jérémie Papin in Le Silence et la peur directed by David Geselson.

She tours the performances she creates but also those of other light designers, including Dorothée Munyaneza’s Samedi Détente, Unwanted and Mailles.
