Everywhere the world rumbles, tears flow, buildings collapse, cars burn, hearts bleed, bodies crumble under misery, under unpunished bombs and bullets.
Par la mer is a performance, a renewed and burning invitation to inhabit the world and this very space where commitment to the Other, the Other whose history is linked to mine and yours.
The Other who can no longer be silenced. The other we must listen to.
The link should be recreated in a sincere and generous way.
Again and again.
In the interstice of our intertwined histories, our sweat, our beauty, our laughs, our words and our silences, in song, in music, in dance, in the midst of chaos and cacophony, let our stories cross the seas that separate us, the waters that bear witness to yesterday’s and today’s journeys.”
